WSU to Manage Net Metering
WSU is now running Washington state’s net metering program. All current PUD net metering customers will need to reapply with WSU before April 30th to receive renewable energy incentive credits. Jefferson County PUD will no longer be managing this program. Please read through the reapplication process below.
Recent legislation (ESSB 5939) requires that renewable energy systems previously certified by the Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) must be recertified by the Washington State University Energy Program (WSUEP). WSUEP are administering the new Washington State Renewable Energy System Program. The deadline for reapplication is April 30, 2018
