Construction Site Visit

Planning fiber to the home.

Before the PUD installs fiber to the home or business, we’ll need to make a visit to map the route the fiber will take from the street. While the fiber will generally follow the same route as the electric (either overhead or underground), accommodations will need to be made for on-site impediments such as pavement, septic or sewer, structures, or permanent vegetation.

PUD staff will alert residents to area site visits as they move through project areas.

Sign Up For Service

Your network, your choice.

After the fiber has been installed, customers will be invited to sign up for their preferred service level package, either from the PUD, or from one of our Qualified Internet Service Providers. After the service package and provider has been selected, PUD staff or contractors will bring the fiber into the house and connect it to associated equipment.
