Appliance Rebates Available!

If you’re considering picking up a new washer, dryer or a smart thermostat for your home (or have purchased an applicable ENERGY STAR appliance since 2016), you need to check out our online rebate application! The savings can add up quickly, and all we need is a quick application available here: Appliances & Smart Thermostats page

Rebates are available thanks to the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) providing incentives to encourage customers to reduce demand by improving efficiency in homes and businesses. Reduced demand for electricity offsets the need for the construction of costly new power plants or the purchase of additional electricity from other wholesalers. As one of the BPA’s customers, Jefferson County PUD receives a set amount of funding every two years that can be used to help customers afford energy saving improvements to their homes or businesses. The funding can be used for multiple products and is available to PUD customers on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that rebates offered are subject to change based on updated requirements and available funding.

New appliances are not only great for your wardrobe, they’re also easier on your power bill! ENERGY STAR-certified clothes washer models offer advanced spin technology that requires significantly less water and power, while delivering improved cleaning performance.  Front-load washers lead the pack in both water and energy savings.

Let the PUD help pay for a new energy-efficient washer, dryer, or Smart Thermostat by applying for a rebate online. To see if your appliances apply, check out the Efficiency Rebates link under the Sustainability tab on jeffpud.org
