New Electric Meters Coming to Glen Cove Area

PUD meter staff have begun new electric meter installations in the Glen Cove region and areas along Hwy 20 and Hwy 19. The installation area includes approximately 570 service addresses with an estimated completion of late-November.

Customers within a current meter installation area receive a postcard notification several weeks prior. An automated reminder call will go out a few days before meter staff are on site. The PUD requests that all customers ensure they have up-to-date contact information for the service address.

Customers do not need to be home during the time of replacement. Please consider unplugging sensitive electronics during the meter replacement process as meter changeout does require a brief loss of power to the home.
