The PUD has provided public water to community clusters around Jefferson County since 1979. The PUD sources water from several wells throughout East Jefferson County. Water quality tests are performed regularly to ensure every system meets state and federal regulations. The PUD does not use fluoride. The PUD has a dedicated and experienced crew of trained water distribution and treatment managers who monitor and maintain each system.
