Port Ludlow Emergency Prep Event

Join the PUD for a deep dive discussion of long-duration outage response by local responders on April 27th from 2-4pm at The Beach Club in Port Ludlow.
The discussion centers around a hypothetical catastrophic weather scenario:
- Ice storm with wind gusting to 100mph
- Below freezing temperatures
- Tress down and impassable roads
- Hood Canal Bridge heavily damaged
- Power out with estimated restoration of 7-10 days
- Cell service is intermittent/down
- Water systems are damaged
This hypothetical scenario is a great chance to hear first-hand from local resources from our region and ask questions! The event will also be available with a online component via Port Ludlows The Beach Clubs GoToMeeting link, here.
