DESCRIPTION:Jefferson County PUD’s Board of Commissioners regularly meet at 3pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month and hold a budget hearing the first Monday in October. One regular board meeting is held in December on the second Tuesday. \nWith the adoption by the Washington State Legislature of ESHB 1329\, providing for both virtual and in-person meetings to be held\, JPUD will be offering both virtual on-line meetings via Zoom\, as well as in-person meetings in the Conference Room of our 310 Four Corners Operations Center for each meeting\, unless advance notice is provided. SUMMARY:Planned Outage - Port Ludlow-South
DESCRIPTION:A planned outage affecting approximately 1\,800 customers is set for September 8th in the greater Port Ludlow area. The outage will last approximately 10 hours and is scheduled to begin at 5AM.  \nThe outage area will extend from Swansonville Rd to Thorndyke Rd south of Highway 104. Affected customers will be notified by the PUD via automated call and by postcard mailer. \nThe outage is part of the fish barrier removal project near Swansonville Rd and Beaver Valley Rd (SR19). The project involves construction of an 18-foot three-sided culvert. \nROAD CLOSURES – Beaver Valley Rd (SR19) & Swansonville Rd\nThe Washington Dept of Transportation has set a 10-day full roadway closure beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday\, Sept. 5 and end at 6 a.m.\, Friday\, Sept. 15. During the 10-\nday closure\, a signed detour route via Center Road will lead travelers around the work zone. \nFor more information about the Beaver Valley Rd (SR19) closure\, please visit the DOT project page here.
