One regular board meeting is held in December on the second Tuesday. \nWith the adoption by the Washington State Legislature of ESHB 1329\, providing for both virtual and in-person meetings to be held\, JPUD will be offering both virtual on-line meetings via Zoom\, as well as in-person meetings in the Conference Room of our 310 Four Corners Operations Center for each meeting\, unless advance notice is provided. DESCRIPTION:Join the PUD for a deep dive discussion of long-duration outage response by local responders on April 27th from 2-4pm at The Beach Club in Port Ludlow. \nThe discussion centers around a hypothetical catastrophic weather scenario: \n\nIce storm with wind gusting to 100mph\nBelow freezing temperatures\nTress down and impassable roads\nHood Canal Bridge heavily damaged\nPower out with estimated restoration of 7-10 days\nCell service is intermittent/down\nWater systems are damaged\n\nThis hypothetical scenario is a great chance to hear first-hand from local resources from our region and ask questions!
